Carlucci creation are all made onsite. Carl Gifford's passion for recycling materials and making unique sculptures from metal and rock. Inspired from the rugged Owhiro Bay coast line he grew up in Carl soon developed a love for his environment. By making a mini golf from recycled materials he could combined his love for adventure and art while reducing his impact on the planet. Starting off as the local mechanic, moving his skills to create beautiful stone work ranging from walls to waterfalls. You'll find many of Carl's creation around Wellington at Massey University, Wellington Zoo, Otari Wilton bush to name a few. Carlucci Land itself has now become a Wellington icon.
Owhiro Bay is an incredible environment with the marine reserve, Red Rocks, bush walks all only 10 minutes from the CBD. What better place to create a recycled fun park pulling from the surrounding area while still being conveniently close to the CBD and with plenty of free parking.
Carlucci land has received plenty of media attention over the years, from local to international documentary and countless newspaper articles.
